That's the kind of case I was looking for! Nice choice!

I see you are also using the Radio Shack knobs, yes? They actually have some style for once.

yeah it's the radio shack knobs but i might eventually change them. they're a little too big and close together. that case was $10 at fye (the music store in the malls). i think mine is for the ds lite but i don't remember for sure and i didn't keep the packaging.

if you use the case, keep in mind that placing the audio jack on the side is a pain. there's two layers on the solid silver pieces and i had to drill out a bigger hole on the inside layer to get the jack to reach the outside. if i didn't have an extra switch to turn on the second circuit, i could have put the jack where that is much more easily (the white part is plastic and cardboard and thin enough), but i wouldn't have the effect of having some kind of future-retro elevator remote Razz.

here's the 3/4"
http://www.mouser.com/search/ProductDetail.aspx?R=45KN018virtualkey56100000virtualkey45KN018

looks like you can get them for 56 cents each in that quantity.

i tried a search for the 1" knobs and nothing came up at mouser.

Yeah, those Radio Shack knobs are the only thing of impulse-item quality in the store. I mean, $1.69 for one transistor! Come on!

I've been looking at the 500 packs of assorted resistors, and it gets slightly better. But, you can't beat $0.05 a piece from Mouser. Sad
I hate waiting for shipments to arrive.

yeah radio shack's selection sucks too. but it beats waiting for a single part if you're short. mouser is the newegg of electronic components. i usually get my parts in three days if i order soon enough in the day, and last time i ordered they upgraded my shipping at no cost!
