Subject description: Anyone get a kit from a supplier?

Hey,

I was looking around for a component kit for my SoundLab. Has anyone ordered one from Bridechamber, Get-Bent, or Elby? All three places have fairly different prices, so I am not quite sure what to get from that. I was hoping someone here would have some experience from these companies.

Thanks.

I've gotten other stuff from Elby, but not the SoundLab kit. I got exactly what I wanted, well packaged, with a support CD, and I know I couldn't have found it cheaper anywhere else. Cool
As for the price variations in the SoundLab kits, I'm not sure. It is a fairly large project, so the inclusion of, or omission of, certain extras, or a difference in a particular component type/quality could have a big impact on the final price. Make sure you're 100% certain about what each of them includes before you make a decision.
Don't forget to let us all know how you go. Very Happy

I decided to go with Elby Designs for both the SoundLab and 16-Step Sequencer. He seems to know what parts are good and what is crap. It was hard to tell from other sites what was actually offered in their kit. From Elby Designs, I got a bill of materials for both kits so I knew what I was getting into.

He even let me change the knob style in one of the kits and the jack size in both, to better match my modular (Frac format).

I will let you guys know once I get the kits and finish them what my final thoughts are.
