my appologies if i overlooked a simple solution to my problem.
i was wondering if there was anyway to assign a button or keypress to reset the patch? (ie. what happens when you attach a cable or add a module)

thanks

Not in the editor, on the synth itself (not the engine of course) there seems to be a key combination. We had a topic about this a not too long ago, but can't find it right away - something with shift ???

Just found a quick way for in the editor. Click on the perf knob in the tool bar, and then again. This togglees between patch and perf mode and back again, and it recompiles the patches.

Not sure this is what you want, but Shift+var button resets that variation to its initial state (the state when first loaded). It doesn't undo any real patching though, that's only possible from the editor.
