I don't really know what a zheng should sound like, although the sound this patch makes does remind me on sounds I've heard in Chines music. But I do think this is an interesting sound you patched (even with the reverb turned off).

This is a very nice patch. Thanks for sharing it.
I have been wanting to do some Chinese-like music for an upcoming Indie soundtrack. Now if we could only get a wonderful expert to build a Chinese violin Erhu patch using the wheel for sad expressive slides, we could all score Crouching Tiger meets Kung Fu.

Very nice patch indeed. Inspiring Exclamation

I've combined it with one of my earlier patches and it makes a rather nice performance. Two demo mp3 attached.
Var 3 is also filled for both slots.

I like that sound, reminds me a bit of playing guitar somehow :-)

Seriously ! It's fun to put pieces of cardboard or metal (tea spoon) between the strings, that's what it made me think on.
