Inverting attenuators

Just another thought:
I never liked about the atenuverter circuits that the pot is scaled only half way in either direction, so it´s harder to make exact adjustments. A little turn can have a huge effect. So instead i like to use those push pull pots that contain aswitch. Push for noninverting, pull for inverting mode.
I also like this for setting the gain of eq filters (boost or cut) for the same reason. just much better feel when turning the knob.

you could mod the pot: "centerweighted" log...

good point and very sophisticated - i like that idea! i will find a project where i could implement this. maybe on CV inputs: pull for attenuation of the input, push for the offset...
