Someone posted a link to a bipolar 9v wall wart some time ago, and as is most common I can no longer locate it. I would really prefer to use an external supply for my new 2 in 1 soundlab project, rather than the battery option. If anyone knows of this link or another available PSU, lay it on me baby!

i think it was me! BUT: i don't think a bipolar symmetric wall wart (+V/GND/-V) is common - i'm actually not sure if this is available at all. what i did was to build a small psu fed by an external 9V AC (500mA) wall wart transformer. here's the thread for the psu:

you can easily build it on a stripboard and use only the regulators for the +/-9V and leave the others off. you can draw about 100mA from this psu which should be enough for two SLs. actually only the transformer you'll need is a 9V AC wall wart.

cheers,
matthias
