hello forum
i just ordered reaktor 5 but i haven't got the box yet.
my situation is this. i am running windows xp media center edition for the time being, but i would like to change to windows xp pro for better performance. if i were to activate reaktor 5 on media center and then cross grade to pro would i be able to reactivate? i have read somewhere that i would be allowed to install reaktor on 2 pcs. but i don't want to use up one of my activations just because i changed my os. so in other words can i deactivate reaktor? or is it a one time activation?

thank you.

I should really know this, but I have forgotten it all Shocked I helped a friend installing Reaktor on a new machine after the old one had died a horrible death. I think it was fairly easy to deactivate machines and transport the license to a new one. I seem to remember there was a FAQ re this at the NI site. I guess you get access to this section of the support area after you first register Reaktor.

I understand the whole licence issue is a bit of a pig with R5. Boo!
