I know where you are coming from! It's like I have this tiny thing here that I was going to use for this project 15 years back, but still haven't got round to starting the project.....

....whoever I get an mmt8 from, that too will probably go th same way as well! Rolling Eyes Laughing

Been putting in a new kitchen. My house is in chaos, and Blofeld sits atop a shelve looking at me with his x-ray spex thru the cupboard doors! Laughing Rolling Eyes Laughing

Laughing Laughing

I have actually started to put together a complimentary cab with a computer built in.. for Numerology.. and I´m trying to figure out a way to mount the most wonderful TR-707 in the cab. And I planned to explore if I could throw in the MMT-8 as well. One possible usage is having sequences for the filters and such in the MMT-8. I only have to figure out a decent way to clock all the stuff. The Klee is supposed to go into this cab as well.

Well...
MY "project" is to get ancient MMT8 sequences loaded from Ensoniq Mirage floppies into the MMT8 and then into Digital Performer.(The main reason I bought a used Mirage rack mount to replace my fried 27 year old keyboard.)
I'm not sure if that's a higher priority than trance-ferring my old Teac 4 track tapes or not.I'll let you know if I get around to either of them before the mediums dissolve. Laughing

Only if you said it was worth a lot of money.

If on the other hand it was just sent as a parcel containing books or something, it probably wouldn't. (but I can just see you Andy. I'm sure you'd go out of your way to tell them otherwise wouldn't you? Rolling Eyes Laughing )

Yes you do see them on eBay now and then. I actually just missed one by a sniper Evil or Very Mad

I meant the price of the postage would be more than the MMT8!

Why are you going on about books then? Surely books are heavy and would cost more to send.

You obviously know NOTHING about the Norwegian postal system!?! Laughing

I tried to send a Canon 20-35 2.8L lens to Norway once, which almost turned out to be an almost disaster, if it wasn't for the fact that I'd forgotten to include my own address. The feds were going to return it (Norway being outside the EU, because Norway likes to be like that....!), but in the end they had to give it to the recipient- because of the address. The bottom line was they knew what was in the package and wanted to scam loads of extra dosh out of the recipient but they couldn't and apparently a very miffed postie finally delivered the package.

You get to know these things if you are on a low budget/income. You don't understand these things if you are an owner of a Porsche! Wink Laughing Laughing

Now where has my medication gone...... Shocked

Surely that would be Norwegian Lens Tax, probably only around 75% of new purchase cost. I hope you are not saying we should be tax avoiders?

Import taxes here are also based on the value, as an MMT8 is only worth around £2.34 they might let you off.

Or you could just print out an image of an MMT8 and use that instead, or just get a proper instrument like a guitar, or take the medicine!

Anyway I heard a rumour that there was going to me a MMT8 iPhone app called iMMT8 why don't you wait for that Laughing

I've read that having a puppy helps to lower one's blood pressure. I think it's from all the exercise one gets, cleaning up the pee and shite.

That's right. Your blood pressure lowers because simply, you have died due to e-coli infection from contaminated faeces. Nice.

And still the bloody thing won't sequence my Blofeld. Shocked

Nice pups, indeed. but this topic will completely degenerate if everyone posts their pet pics.

I'm resisting the temptation. Oh, it's hard. Argggg. Gotta pet Zuzu to reduce stress...
