Lovely piano!

Someday, I too will have my own grand piano - at least a baby grand.

Oscar!
The battery is dead. Gotta to buy a new lithium battery and figure out how to breathe life into this little guy.

Traded in my Brian Moore iGuitar towards a new Epiphone Joe Pass Emperor II. I was tired of trying to play jazz on a Taylor dreadnaught Smile

Took about 10 hours (with tea breaks) to build and debug last Saturday.

Huge fun to make and use, and capable of generating a satisfyingly wide variety of soundscapes. Playing with this can quickly become a hypnotic experience Shocked

Aftertouch? R U serious??! Laughing Laughing Laughing

I think so! It's definitely touch sensitive. Actually it's pretty crap but it does just work, and that's better than trying to play off the screen Rolling Eyes

Our beloved Jan Punter, being the everpresent and watchful provider of good advice that he is, suggested when I said I was hot to make a new music project that I should put it in a box. Well, long story short here it is.

Longeringisifying the story, the box is the star of the show! The circuit turned out kind of meh just okay or poor by audio standards as a percussion box, being a little two-chip wonder croowded out by a battery in a tight little BB size enclosure and consisting of only two chips. But it does do a form of percussion and that's OK in my book.

The finish is brushed aluminum, brushed by a sanding disk on a dremel tool so it's tough and won't chip like paint but you can scratch it. I chose not to engrave the dial meanings for this first box.

Expect many more BB size boxes from me. In the future they will use power jacks, not batteries, and have lots more chips for greater functionality. I said I would sell it then I said nah, I'll keep it but now I'm back to selling it if someone wants it. Would be a cheap buy for just the enclosure and pots and stuff to replace the electronics, or keep as is. Or not, either is fine with me.

Anyway, poor photo enhanced for color from darkness, but here it is:

Les

Shocked I've bought a new synth! Shocked

Not content with my 13 year-old Micro Modular, I splashed out on an impulse buy (didn't tell the wife! Embarassed Wink ).

And then I saw this awesome film made by who I can only describe as GOD. Which I swear I didn't see before buying my new baby. But this video is so worth a watch. It's one of the best things I've seen on YouTube, on a digital wondersynth for a very long time!

Like I said yesterday...or was it the day before? Jexus is GOD!

And yep.... like Jexus, I purchased a Waldorf Blofeld! I now own the best thing next to an original PPG! Edgar, be afraid. Be very afraid!! Cool Very Happy Laughing
