Been on a roll lately. Some of this stuff was bought 3 months ago,the Missing Link I just got.
| Description: |
| Picked up a second Motu 828 Mk 2 and put it in a rack with a wireless monitor transmitter. It gets dual duty as either the main interface for live work/mobile recording or as an interface for a second laptop when I do stuff that's more involved. |

Sh!t!!
You have an Mirage rackmount!!
Had the Mirage keyboard, first sampler i ever had. Miss it
Many times limitations bring out the best creativity, but i just love the grainy-ness.
Ended up breaking some keys on it from playing it with a screwdriver. |

LOL, couldn't say it sounded any different than if i just played it regularly... but with short samples mapped across the board, it made it ez to be percussive with it. Used to play a Bit-1 like that too....STUPID!!
Pyro- has there been any probs with notes hanging with the Missing Link? Or is it pretty Solid? Last edited by 1:11 on Tue Jun 21, 2011 11:17 am; edited 1 time in total |

I almost bought a 6R from someone a couple of years ago, but I decided I didn't want to bother with re-seating the mobo as often as he said he had to. |

I don't use it for note on data, only controllers.I mostly use the X/Y pads for filters etc.
One problem I DID have was with the Xils 3 plug in.If I tweaked the filter using one pad (there are 4 "pages" of them in the Touch OSC setup) and switched to another page the filter would reset to zero after a while.I think this is a problem with the plug in,not with Touch OSC or the Missing Link.I haven't have any problems with the filters in the Thor synth in Reason.I have a show coming up,so I don't have time to diagnose it any further, but it seems to work just fine.(But I haven't been able to mess with it extensively though) _________________ http://soundcloud.com/pyrosonic-1

Well, it finally arrived after about 3 months of waiting.
I spent the afternoon cleaning it, tuning it, and playing it.

It's a C1 (161cm). And yeah, I'm thinking about some pieces of plywood to deal with that carpet thing. _________________ Garret: It's so retro.

Wowie, last week I bought back an old amp I'd sold to a mate 20 years ago. He's moving to France for a year, plus he doesn't play much these days, as his hands are giving him grief, so he called me and asked me if I wanted to buy it back. Duh, of course I did. So now I'm once again the happy owner of a Vox AC50 amp head, probably mid-to-late sixties, along with an Orange 4x12 speaker cabinet. Pics and more details to follow... _________________ Where there are too many policemen, there is no liberty. Where there are too many soldiers, there is no peace. simple but fun little battery powered drum machine
and nicely tweakable digital delay for audio distressing and insane feedback
