I haven't totally played with the CC programming, but it also does NRPNs, etc. So, I'm thinking so.

Posted Image, might have been reduced in size. Click Image to view fullscreen.

I've been thinking about getting an analogue modular for several years, it took me forever to decide what modules to get, to provide the sort of options I wanted and to fit in the case with no gaps, but after lots of consideration I decided on

2 x A110 standard osc
1 x A112 sampler/wavetable osc
1 x A105 ssm vcf
1 x A106 xtreme vcf
1 x A114 ring mod
1 x A131 vca
1 x A132 vca
2 x A138 mixer (a & b)
2 x A140 env
1 x A145 lfo
1 x A147 vclfo
1 x A148 dual s&h
1 x A174 joystick
2 x A180 multiple
1 x Z5000 vcfx processor

it's kind of modelled on what you get with a Synthi/VCS3, with extra stuff, but without the patch matrix, as I wanted a self-contained, portable performance oriented modular

so far I love it Cool

How did I manage to get one, you may well ask. The answer is that I ordered it in January.

It's an AN200. Could work just as well with the DX200 (I have one in the studio) but the AN200 was easier to find.

so are you going to play it with the 'keys' and control stuff with the ribbon, or use the ribbon to control pitch?

I'm going to get one of these ribbons

would be useful to add aftertouch to my Prophet VS

or as an extra controller for my A-100, or my frostwave resonator

or any number of things Cool

Yes, I have the guitar strap buttons, but the screws are too long for the thin piece of wood I have everything mounted on. So I either need to get shorter screws, or add an extra piece of wood, or both.

Yes, it's a thin piece of birch flooring. Lightweight but strong enough to hold everything together (I hope). I also have a 1spot 12V power supply that can power both the ribbon and the AN200 with a single cable.

Mostly I use the ribbon to control pitch for solos (quantized to the key of the tune). Sometimes for sound effects, but it is still sending note data.
My only complaint about the r2m is the limited quantize options (basically just diatonic and chromatic scales, and major/minor chords). The Kurzweil ribbon I have in the studio is fully customizable, but those are impossible to find anymore.

small bolts? that way you can use some wide washers, so the thin wood isn't stressed.
