i just got a tiny midikeyboard and am trying to use it only as notecontroller of the oscs while audioinput gates the envelopes.
i would like to be able to control both oscs independently with this one keyboard. but it doesnt work.

with "it's not working" i mean;
everything is working ok in the patch, but the keyboardsplitmodule is not filtering the keys within the stated range (which is really (too) low in the pictured patch, but changed that and still nothing)
in other words; it's following all the keys all the time on both oscs/audioinputsignals.

You've got KBT tracking on on the OSCs, that will make them track the keyboard, and then you add your split signal to it so for every note up in the split bit it will go two notes up instead & weirdness like that.

In the example given both ranges also 'share' C1.

i changed that to c3-b4 and c4-c5. i have a 25key keyboard.
still every note controls every frequency (of the left and the right incoming signal) at the same time.
now i think; maybe it's some global notemessages i have to turn off somewhere?

As Jan showed you, the Oscillators get two kinds of Pitch information... If you set the Pitch Tracking on the Oscillators to 'off' they will only react to the KeyboardSplit modules.

From the help file Laughing

Quote:
Keyb Split
Keyboard split gives you the possibility to create split sounds using only one patch. It functions as a “key filter” in which you set the limits for the key range that should pass through.

Lower
Here you set the lower limit of the keyboard range. The limit note is displayed in the display boxe. Only notes played above the set limit will pass through to the output(s). Range: C-1 to G9.

Upper
Here you set the upper limit of the keyboard range. The limit note is displayed in the display boxe. Only notes played below the set limit will pass through to the output(s). Range: C-1 to G9.

Note, Gate, Vel inputs
‘Note’ is the note control signal input. Patch the Note output of the Keyboard Patch or Keyboard Voice module to this input. ‘Gate’ is the logic gate input. This input must always receive a high logic gate signal to activate the module. Connect it to the Gate output of the Keyboard Patch or Keyboard Voice module, for instance. ‘Vel’ is the velocity control signal input. If a gate signal and a note control signal that lies within the Lower and Upper limits are received, the velocity value of the ‘Vel’ input will be transmitted to the ‘Vel’ output.

Note, Gate, Vel outputs
These are the outputs for the note, gate and velocity signals.
Note signal: Bipolar
Gate signal: Logic
Velocity signal: Unipolar

The split modules get no note input so they don't know what to split. The default value an unconnected input has is 64 (or E4 I think), so the left splitter will be active here and the right one will not.

Connect the note output from a keyboard module to the note inputs of the splitters, that should do the trick.

And welcome weim.

Why does everybody send in *.jpg instead of *.pch or *.pch2?

Can't load these into the synth, so what's wrong? The wrong File Type Very Happy

If we can load the Patch into the synth, it's much more easy to detect the troubles, if there's more then one.
