Hi, all.
This is my first track on this forum and also under the alias "Abaddon".
I'm not entirely sure what genre it is, but I hope you enjoy it.

Abaddon - Too much alone time

EDIT: I made the track keeping in mind that since I had turned about 13, I had horrible sleeping habits in which I would spend more than (estimated) 85% time alone. My self esteem lowered a lot and I found myself very depressed and vulnerable (not to mention sleepy during daylight hours).
The bad habit ended about month ago, and I way this track in celebration and rememberance (I'm sure I spelled that wrong! )

I am listening to it. I like its sparse setting, if it means anything Shocked , it's kind of dark ambient. It sounds like the soundtrack of a movie where a starship is lost in space and the captain is wondering where the hell is planet earth.............................cool Very Happy

That was kinda what I was going for... It's good listening if you loop it over and over again while doing something else. Not that it's bad of anything - just sparse.

Yeah.. I get the same feeling myself.. the spacecraft is alone out there.. very alone..

Yes.. this is sparse.. and reminds me of some 70s music .. John Carpenter?

It's got a nice lonesome vibe to it. Let's hear more.

Well, I'm having a good listen. Not really feeling this one to be frank though. Definitely moody, can't deny it, but not the sort of thing I would listen to again. Nothing much in there, I like music you have to poke around in a bit. To be cruel, it sounds like it was thrown together in an hour, in your bedroom when you couldn't be bothered to replace the light bulb.

Yeah, sorry, not my style I guess.

Abbadon Defined =

A*bad"don\ ([.a]*b[a^]d"d[u^]n), n. [Heb. [=a]badd[=o]n destruction, abyss, fr. [=a]bad to be lost, to perish.]

1. The destroyer, or angel of the bottomless pit; -- the same as Apollyon and Asmodeus.

2. Hell; the bottomless pit. [Poetic]

"In all her gates, Abaddon rues Thy bold attempt." --John Milton.

this is a perfect example of execution in my opinion. You made a track that FEELS to me like the title is defined as! I made a SONG called abbadon a while back, and you want to hear it sometime, contact me. I am interested in working on some music with you, if you would have me as a collaborator, or vice versa. GOOD STUFF!

Quote:
The locusts looked like horses prepared for battle. On their heads they wore something like crowns of gold, and their faces resembled human faces. Their hair was like women's hair, and their teeth were like lions' teeth. They had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the thundering of many horses and chariots rushing into battle. They had tails and stings like scorpions, and in their tails they had power to torment people for five months. They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek, Apollyon.

Revelations 9:7-11
Yes, I read it and liked it. So I chose it! Very Happy
