Les, make sure that your Mac can handle W7. Not all Mac's can. For eg, my Macbook Pro won't run W7. Only Vista or XP _________________ ACHTUNG! ALLES TURISTEN UND NONTEKNISCHEN LOOKENPEEPERS! Well the Mac runs Windows 7 under Parallels just fine. Had a rough time with the install but finally got it right. Never install complex software while drinking beer, lol.

But we ran into a little snag with Tradestation. Apparently our net worth is too low (my brother's and mine) so they are requiring us to open an account with $20,000. We don't even have close to that at this time. So basically Tradestation doesn't want our business.

This is awkward as I did it wrong and paid for the software prior to opening an account which was my own stupidity. So we're out over $200 in software that we don't need and now we're looking at Scottrade as a possible brokerage house.

I'm a bit disappointed that I won't be able to code up trading algorithms and regression test them, but that's the way it goes sometimes. Oh well...
