Ok, I ended up ordering a few more boards. They will be here in about 2 weeks and I can ship then, but I'll start taking orders now.

The boards are $14, shipping within the US is $2.00 for one board and 50 cents for each additional. Shipping to Europe is $4.00

Same as Europe, $4 for one and 50 cents each additional. (That's US dollars.)

Yes, the second batch of boards should be here in a couple of days. I don't have any 1044s left, but if you can't get them where you are I can order them. I don't have any orders to make from Mouser right now, though, so I would have to charge you what it costs me to get them ($2.75 each plus $7 shipping) unless a bunch of people from Europe also want some.

thanks for the quick reply, Taylor!
i'll paypal you the money for a board(s...?) asap.
regarding the 1044s, that's no problem, i have an order waiting at mouser anyway, i'll add one to it..

btw, i'm pretty new to all this, at mouser there's three different 1044s listed (...esa+, csa+ & cpa+) apart from price, what's the difference?

thanks again!

The ESA and CSA are "SOIC" package, which means small outline integrated circuit. These are tiny surface mount parts which won't fit in the PCB and even if they would they'd be extremely hard to solder.

In general, when buying ICs from Mouser or any other big place, make certain you're buying a "PDIP" package, which means plastic dual inline. These are the right size for hand soldering and they're what's usually called for in circuits like this. Just about everyone who's been buying from Mouser for awhile has a few bags of tiny surface mount parts that we ordered by mistake Rolling Eyes (anyone want some SMD opamps or diode arrays?). I actually have a PCB for a commercial pedal I'm making that uses a surface mount chip. It's not that hard to solder them by hand, but never do it if you don't have to. Very Happy

You want part number 700-MAX1044CPA.

Ok, I received the new batch of boards today. Due to a miscommunication with the fab house, these boards have green soldermask, not black. But happily, these happen to be a very nice deep emerald-turquoise color instead of the more common lime green.

There are still some from this batch that have not been sold yet, so as before, if you'd like to buy one or a few, they are $13.50 plus shipping. Shipping to the US is $2 for one board, 50 cents for each additional. Shipping to Europe and Australia is $4 for one board, 50 cents for each additional. I'll ship to other places as well, contact me to get a shipping quote. To order, send the payment to taylorlivingston /at/ yahoo \dot\ com via Paypal.

Thanks guys, looking forward to seeing G-izers built up!

I would also be interested in at least two. Well, two for myself anyway. If they are available at the right time I shall order and build a third one for a friend. He is a massive TG fan and it would make a great 40th birthday present!

Cool, if you could get them in within the next five weeks or so I'd definately be interested in one as a gift, maybe more.

Also, what pcbs do you currently have available? Do you have a list?

Thanks for your time!

But I will definitely have Gristleizers and Echo Base PCBs in about 2 weeks:

Price is $14 each.

Shipping within the US is $2 for one board, 50 cents for each additional board.

Shipping outside the US is $4 for one board, 50 cents for each additional board. I can ship to any country in the world.

Do you happen to have the MAX1044s currently? Also, what's the status of the Echo boards? I want one of each.
