I found this schematic for the 303
http://machines.hyperreal.org/manufacturers/Roland/TB-303/schematics/roland.TB-303.schem-5.gif

It appears to show the vco area but I was wondering
does anyone have a schematic for just the vco of the 303 with the CV input, and output labelled?

The CV is labelled, follow the track back from the CV jack. That said, any basic Square/Saw oscillators will do the job. It's only the filter and sequencer that makes this machine interesting.

Rene Schmitz has a simple cmos 4069 VCO which has a very rich sqare wave. I dont own a TB but this VCO sounds pretty close to it.

the fact that it doesnt use tempcos was the most intresting for me Very Happy

Yves has already a Diode Ladder VCF which should go in the direction, but a clone of the Original TB VCF would be really nice. Dont know if the parts are that rare, for the VCF

I had a look at that site, but there doesn't seem to be any schematic for the vco2?

Is there a schematic for the vco2 though without any of the surrounding 303 electronics?

The schematic of the vco2 is exactly the same as the circuitery of xoxbox vco that is very similar (again almost exactly the same) of the original tb303 vco
print xoxbox schematic + print original tb303 schematic from the links posted.
Studying both vco's circuiteries (check the similar parts) you must to found all you need.
If you are in difficult to read schematics maybe try to ask the original vco2 schematic from the .au site.

Hi iorobyy!

I have build this weekend a vco2 and sounds great.
But this dual version is very interesting for the sync feature.
Is it possible to have some help to choose the unlabelled transistors?

Hi jackdamery,
The schematic should be like or te same in the x0xb0x:
http://www.ladyada.net/media/x0xb0x/mainboard_beta.png

The KIT for one vco2 with all components inclusive one alpha pot and switch is cheap.

In a modular system it is required to serve +12V and +5.33V to +5.333V

The author from vco2 wrote to me, about the VCF:
"Is it better to look for the x0xb0x schematic, because the original Roland schematic is published with some errors".
