The MMV2 is becoming one of my favorite softsynths. Reaktor is still my favorite. Absynth 2 is up there too. The three of them cover quite a bit of ground.

I would think any keyboard controller will work with the G2 engine, but I would think one would want as many assignable knobs and sliders as possible on it.

I have MMV2 and G2 demo.

I use G2 demo, with the virtual kbd set to 'drone' to do, erm, drones. You don't need polyphony, it's already building a huge stereo soundwall, depending on patch of course. The demo is so good for this that I don't need the actual product (for the kind of thing I want it to do).

I use MMV2 for sequences, it is easily par excellence at this. Once you get the hang of it, the possibilities are endless. This is one superb product (G2 demo is as well of course) but I love MMV2 it has a sound that I like a lot, and fits well with what we do in Entity. I use MMV2 live on stage

That was from the gig supporting Airsculpture last December 2nd. There's just me on MMV and Steve on a CS1x in there.

Thanks guys, it was just to illustrate the use of MMV, it's now on the Entity album.
Actually, at the end (about 6:24) in comes me on what else but a MicroKorg !!
For the next concert, whenever that is, I've already got some Nord Modular Demo drones and squiggles sorted out ...
(and some new MMV sequences as well of course)
