Yes, even if a new Nord Modular was 2 grand it would be more affordable for me.. Sonic Core Xite will cost me at least 4.5 grand to setup (as I don't have a pc (at least 500 dollars), and you have to buy an express card for your laptop (another 250 dollars). And the Sonic Core Xite-1 is $3500 dollars and that's cheaper then what europe has to pay by about 700 dollars.

So yes, cheaper for sure..

[quote="GovernorSilver"]Looking forward to more details about EHX's updated Deluxe Memory Man. I wonder if it's analog or if they had to make it digital to implement tap tempo:

What's updated- the amount of delay time?

BTW- Have you read this?

It's pretty interesting

I don't know any more about the latest version of the Deluxe Memory Man than what has been posted here: http://www.ehx.com/

No, I have not read the Analog Man book. I'm actually not that interested in vintage effects pedals. I am however on the lookout for analog delay pedals. I like the DMM sound.

Those are MSRP prices, you should write to Novamusik and see if they'd get one for you, as word is that S|C has stock of both the XITE-1 and 1D. S|C made the comment about the prices that it is intended to keep the ceiling on the price for several years to come. But the street price is intended to be far less for now (you can see its true as Thomann.de sells the 1D for less than MSRP). The express card for me was $129 direct from S|C (when you do purchase from S|C directly, they see your address is in the US, and subtract the 19% VAT). That's a big difference in cost IMO.

Metasonix is at a new level of tasteless it seems - commendable! babble I'm assuming this was shown at NAMM. I'll link to a Muffwiggler post, I'm a bit scared to post a picture here...

I'm going to go on there and bloody vote for POE to counter your negativism.

Peace Man.

ok, vote cast.

51% PEO

49% Mono

I might have made a difference, I wonder if the powers that be voted.

I voted for the Mono. Partly because I didn't know what it was and partly because I'd rather want something the possibility for which, no matter how infinitesimally small was at least greater than zero.

They are at NAMM right now.

I'll be beta testing this puppy next week. A must have in my opinion..

Hmmm... I like.
Nice price point too.

That DSI/Linn drum thingy is pretty cool too,but at 2K I'll need to pass on it.
But still...

Two brilliant hardware samplers from Sweden emerging around the same time - OP-1 and Octatrack.

The Octatrack is probably the first of the two that I'll get because of the more extensive real-time looping, processing, etc. feature set. But the OP-1 will probably also be acquired at some point.
