well that one was fun.
i'd like to thank all the people behind the scenes and the musicians for this wonderfull event.
experimental electronic music, played live by people all over the world. Very Happy

i really enjoyed it and already looking forward for things to come.

p.s.:i got disconnected severel times.especially after a set change.

Great, frater v.i.o., thanks for the feedback. Yes, we learned a lot. How to switch from one stream to another seamlessly. Our servers run on Linux and OSX. Unfortunately, the strongest operating system for broadcasting is Windows. So, we are going to have to work this out for the next international live streaming event. Also, I think we needed an MC or an announcer to explain what was happening and tie it all together. As they say, "live and learn".

Antimon's post reminded me, my name was mis-spelt on the schedule too.

Thinking about it, it would have been nice to have photos/bios/website links for the artists.

Yes, that's a good idea. I'd like that information for automatically show up on the radio.electro-music.com page in sync with whatever or whoever is playing.

To all that brought this event to fruition I really appreciate your work and dedication. I was beside myself when I heard Jan's noodles, it took me back to the first/last time I had heard them. Performers of the NYE:

Thanks to a lot of very hard work by Blue Hell, we have pretty good recordings of the performances of the NYE event. We'd like to put these up as a streaming internet radio broadcast and eventually as podcasts.

I would love to do it again, but this time I'll be in Florida visiting my family. I can not guarantee to be around for the duration of the event. I wouldn't be able to perform, but that is in itself not a major problem.

Hmm... If I could only automate the server switching process...

OK, I'm all for it since I don't have any plans for New Years Eve this year. I have some errands to run during the next few hours but I'll cut and paste from the old announcement and set up a new one for this year.

Maybe we could make some improvements this time.
