Bulk (One-Click) upload/download of ALL patches and Perfs |

I would like to see a way of saving all patches/perfs with a few clicks, instead of having to save each bank.
One could make a backup of all patches before a gig very quickly, instead of having to do each bank manually.
Also, if you were preparing for a gig, and only want the gig patches (for simplicity), you could save everything to disk, wipe out all the banks, then upload the gig-only patches/perfs, with just a few clicks.
Clavia - it's just a few For loops with some simple logic wrapping them.
OR- better yet, make the editor a COM server, with enough events and and methods exposed, so we can script all the things the editor is missing, from external programs. Last edited by cappy2112 on Tue Dec 20, 2005 1:18 pm; edited 2 times in total |

Hear hear, right on, of course, yes, Yes, YES!
I still have not found a reliable way to back up my sounds. This would do it. |

I'm working on a q & dirty hack to see if I can do this externally.
(don't hold yer breath though. It's not going to be elegant ) |

Though this little program I wrote, I saved 4 banks- all with one click (essentially)
I tested 10 banks, of which all were empty except 4, tonight, didn't have any problems. (I only have patches in 4 banks at the moment)
Take a look at the screenshot
I need to add a simple gui for the user to enter the destination path, and it should be ready for beta testing in about a week, if I get any more time to work on it this week.
It's been kinda buggy, because of timing issues, so they may creep up now & then, but should be able to get them worked out.
It's pretty cool to see the editor clicking away by itself, saving the banks one after another.
Hmm, I wonder if I could created patches, un-attended (uggh)
