March Equinox Concert 2022, do I need to say more ?
Well maybe for all the new people.

The March Equinox Concert is 1 of 4 annual events here at electro-music.com where artists from around the world
stream live music which will be broadcasted on electro-music.com radio. If you are interested in participating
in this event you can sign up here, it's free! Razz

This event will be on electro-music radio on Saturday March 19, 2021.
It will start somewhere around 15:00 GMT and end whenever it is over depending on the number of participants.

Stream ops please respond if you're able to help switch and what time range you are available. I am not sure how much time I have
for organizing but I'll probably be able to do some switching. So if someone would like to help out with the organisation of this event
(keeping an eye on this thread, update the wiki and whatever else is needed) that would be most welcome.

First Time Streamers Please Read:

Please review the Electro Music Copyright Policy

Please note: "Preferred Start Time". We will do the best that we can to accommodate people to their requested times. However, please be flexible because this event will have European and American musicians in many different time zones. Time slots will be on a semi-"first come-first served" basis. Furthermore, please post your time in GMT. The handy clock should make it simple. However, we do use military/24 hour time. It will undoubtedly be an international event and GMT is the only way to coordinate such events.

As in the past, the chat room will serve as an invaluable communication tool for set up, streaming, and connecting to those listening....and it's just a lot of silly fun! I suggest participants get familiar with it in advance, if you aren't already.

If you want a recording of your set, it would be prudent to record your own set, rather than depend on others. Accidents and mistakes happen...especially in this format. There are many ways to record your set, either thru the stream app or record your stream from your mixer on the signal path to the computer.

Performers MUST stream at 128 kbps, 44.1 kHz , stereo.

It is IMPERATIVE that everyone test their connections before we start streaming. At least 24 hours before but sooner is preferred. Sorry, but we can not guarantee that musicians will be allowed to stream if you do not test 24 hours before hand. Not only does it delay the schedule, but causes unneeded stress on performer, server operator, and audience during performance time. Join the chat room for testing and help setting up.[/quote]

(and guessed that April 1 was meant).

This set will be entirely on my analog, modular synthesizer.

I will utilize the Mega Percussive Synthesizer modules to produce un-aggressive and hypnotic sounds along with tonal elements from other modules. The set will be an exploration of the variations from the MPS, various filters, and the MPS' controls and switches.

This time I used a.o. a Gamechanger Audio Light pedal e.g. for the bell sounds, a Boss VT-1 for the vocal effects and a handheld tape recorder.

Here is the recording of my set performed entirely on my modular analog synthesizer.

I decided to see what I could do in real time without looping. (I enjoy live-looping but wanted to see what I could do without it.) I utilized two Mega Percussive Synthesizer modules, two Klee Sequencers, and various filters to create this performance.

As always, thank you to the stream operators and everyone who organizes these events.

My life is hectic and these events force me to spend time in my studio. I am grateful for the opportunity to participate. Thank you!
