Hi all,

I've finally got around to assembling the pcb that a friend did ages ago, from Fonik's ps3100 layout.

Trouble is, I don't have any documents for it, and Fonik's site appears to be down - or at least, Firefox won't direct me there.

Anyone have any info? If so, I'd be much appreciative if you could post it!

I assume that it's been built by someone, somewhere, and works?

thanks!
Matthew

google currently lists my site as suspicious. i have encountered this problem last week already. i changed my passwords and uploaded the html files again. next day the problem was solved.
i don't know what to do. both my provider and google don't care about it, i can't help it!?

This should work UNLESS your ISP has been hacked. in which case you need to get another service provider.

Get a Gmail account, sign up for Webmaster Tools from them

!. Sign in to your Webmaster Tools account.
2. Select the infected site on the Dashboard.
3. Next on the overview page you will get a link named “Request a review” just click it and follow the instructions.

Google will review your site and remove the warning message if everything is fine on your website.

This whole process can take a week and you may lose some traffic in the meantime but it is for your own good. These things are part of a webmaster's and blogger's life, so don’t panic as they happen to everyone.

Cool, thanks Fonik. I can't grab it now, but I'll keep trying over the next few days.

In the mean time, is there a specific protocol for adjusting the trimmers?

Fonik, that truly sucks Sad
Let's hope it's just a "too many things in their que to get to" problem..

FYI: site's back up! I've got the docs - thanks!

Just to make sure,

a) the vactrols are all put in label-side up?

b) my trimmers have their adjustment wheel on the jack side of the pcb - does polarity matter here, or would it just mean I'd be turning the wheel a different direction than other people?

Or, perhaps somebody a photo of a completed unit? Unless my forum searching skills are really poor, there doesn't appear to be a thread dedicated to the diy pcb version of this.

yes. the vactrols packages are coded by a cuttoff in the corner of the diodes kathode.

yes. so no problem.

the professional made PS100 PCB has been the first one that i offered, and i believe it has been released very soon after my successfull diy built. so maybe noone ever etched and built the press'n'peel layout? at least there is no thread for it.
