Hey, just wondering if any PCBs were ever made for this module and if so, are they for sale. Could really use one in my euro setup.
If not, does anyone have any photos of breadboards or perfboards of the circuit that I could use for reference.
Following schematics was never my strong point.
Thanks. |

Made one on perfboard, quite simple. But my perfboard layouts are done on the fly, and are hardly exemplary! |

I would definitely buy a PCB and panel if an order was placed.
If not, a breadboard or perfboard photo would be great for reference to build my own.
Cheers. |

shure. one could even add an additional switch to select certain divisions. however, the 4020 is not pin compatible...
BTW the inverters are not needed, they are just my appreoach/idea to divisions. _________________

it's been a while since i've done this one, so it's not as compact as my newer layouts, but unless you are building a tight skiff, it should work... |

Forgive me for asking a stupid question in an old thread.
But what is the 4069 for?
Couldn't you take the signal from the 4024 into the transistors?? |

you could. i use the 4069 inverters to invert the logic.
a normal divider goes to all OFF when receiving a reset, mine goes to all ON.
you may want to have both options? _________________

I just saw this part of the citcuit and I noticed that the switch S1 is connected wrong in this picture: the switch is drawn in rest position indicated by the small arrow in the pushbutton, but in this position (NC) the way it is connected the Reset pulse coming into connector J2 will have no effect since R1 is at +15V level.
So the resistor R1 should be connected to the other now unconnected pin of the switch S1 being the normally open (NO) connection of the switch.
I thought this might be helpfull for any diy-er who likes to build this module.
Other than this nothing but kudos for Fonik |

clock divisions and the original clock coming through |
 |
|
hi bit of a post revival
my device seems to have an issue when using clock or low frequency notes. The original clock is also present in the output signal as well as the division. Like a sort of distortion alternating with the main output. Any idea of what could be wrong. I have built it right as far as I can tell. I have tried various brands of 4024 but they're all the same. Possibly the 4069?
