no idea what's causing the noise but that is indeed a nice build Very Happy
did you repurpose some kind of test oscillator ?

It's a vintage laboratory device yes. 10 euro on ebay Smile Incl bumblebee capacitors and tubes that were still in Smile Not sure how good they still are though..
