My best friend and I are going Monday at the 930 Club in DC. They canceled last tour's stop due to Ogre being 'ill'. |

D.C. show was amazing. Too short, of course, and I wish they'd played more stuff from Last Rights, but it was really an amazing experience. Saw Cevin wandering around outside the club, thought Otto's performance was very funny and enjoyable, and left the place nearly deaf. Should've worn my earplugs. I loved hearing Far Too Frail and Warlock. |

cool
yes I will wear ear plugs. The Fillmore is small but can be loud for a band like that. Yes I saw Otto open last time ... wacky indeed.... Gee I dont know how many Puppy shows this will be for me maybe like 5 or 6... |

Yes was fun. Mix was mostly ok. They always pump it too loud on the hits (popular songs) though and I find it really peaks out and distorts the system wherever they do. But more so here at The Fillmore being so small, also it depends where you are standing of course. I am glad I had my ear plugs with me, and recommend it to others as well (but its good to have them for any show just in case).
Thanks |

1 more thing for those interested here is an awesome video of
the marquee at the Nokia theatre in NYC of Skinny Puppy in Times Square right on Broadway.
I highly recommend watching it in action, it is only 30 seconds... =---->

Just saw them in Los Angeles tonight (ears still ringing) and it was great! Gone was the Guitar and Bass, just Cevin, Ogre and drummer and the sound was far more bass heavy and synth driven then the Greater Wrong... tour. Ogre was also way more a normal singer doing some blood spits and a wacky silver helmet. But, the sound was mixed perfect I didn't put in earplugs (prob a mistake). I counted only about 4 songs from the new album and a real good mix of all others. The encore was vintage Puppy.
Loved Otto! _________________ http://www.REwireMusic.com

if you're in London, on the 11th August, just 3 days earlier, i'm playing this gig...
drop me a message if you're around, the after party is going to be legendary, would be nice to hook up. it's Radioactive Man's girlfriend's birthday, and Keith has promised some "big names" for the after party. i doubt he's talking about Vibert, or even Andrew Wetherall who's sure to play it. so... who else is big, in London, on the same label as 2LS & Vibert who they're friends with...?
c'mon, Vibert, Radioactive Man, Skinny Puppy, possibly some big warp names, all within 3 days and 5 miles of each other... _________________ there's no I in TEAM, so let's all act as individuals instead |

" EURO TOUR DATE CHANGE
Due to issues outside of the band's control, the show in Krakow Poland has been cancelled and replaced with a new stop in Vienna at WUK on August 8th. "
Maybe someone will be interested in this.
