We have a "official EM ASIO" build of 1.2.1.0 on the forum too, I made the topic sticky (official is really just a nice word for saying Philippe made it). The differences between that and 1.2.1.1 are very slight, just the Envelope, something about the third clause of a "while" loop and a third thing that had to do with crashes upon pressing Ctrl+C. Nothing major but those are good updates.

yep, i'm aware of this one, but i'd like to build an asio miniAudicle in the end. afaik i need for building a mini the source of a working compilable chuck version.
that's the reason why i'm trying to build my own asio release.

I thought miniAudicle was just a front end without any audio processing?

the following is mentioned in the mini readme:
Quote:
miniAudicle binds directly to the ChucK source code to provide an internal
ChucK compiler and virtual machine. Thus, to compile the miniAudicle requires
a copy of the ChucK source code distribution. miniAudicle includes the latest
stable release of the ChucK source code in its own distribution, and provides a
symlink to this ChucK source called 'chuck'. To bind to a different version of
the ChucK source (version 1.2.0.5 or greater), unlink 'chuck' and recreate it,
linking to the root directory of the desired source distribution (i.e., the
directory enclosing src/, not src/ itself).

therefor i thought i will build an asio chuck version in advance, and bind this one to the mini...

Thanks for explaining, it seems you are right.

Did you get any further in compiling?

I'll attach my config files, maybe that'll be good for something. I found 'm in the src directory.
