I tried Nomad and got the exact same error message I have seen others post when selecting my MOTU Midi Express or any other Midi Device I had. All are USB.

I tried installing the Wire Java plugin but that makes all my midi ports disappear in Nomad and nothing is available.

It seems many XP users will have this problem. Can you verify that JRE cannot deal with modern Midi Devices and if there is a tried and true fix for this or is it back to mothballs for my MicroModular?
