Just got my Dad to do the test, I consider him a right wing fascist but he got:
Economic -9.12
Social - 4.62
Now I know where I get it from! |

Id' be careful with the word 'fascist' ... did he admire Spengler's writings and want Hitler to win. _________________ The question is not whether they can talk or reason, but whether they can suffer. -- Jeremy Bentham |

Did you read up all the text that came with it? You gotta remember that Hitler was a vegetarian, and believed that animals were equal to humans- hmm a few parallels with modern thinking could be drawn here
I do agree with Robert that the word 'fascist' is over used somewhat these days, and don't forget that fanatical fascist left-wingism also exists!
I watched Woody Allen's Sleeper for the first time in ages the other evening. There is a definite nod in the direction of post-modernism in there (a piss take of course!). _________________ ACHTUNG!

Yes I did notice that the people who designed the test didn't seem to have a clue about what fascism actually involved philosophically. More like a nieve simplistic construct of current popular misconceptions much as v-un-v's post sugests. _________________ The question is not whether they can talk or reason, but whether they can suffer. -- Jeremy Bentham |

One also has to remember by that same brilliant not born yesterday logic preferring German Shepherd Dogs makes you a fascist too. Because the X button was there and I decided that the post with which I came up was more clever and more to the point. I just cant' help myself Tommy old buddy old friend. It's just so much fun helping you make the right look so bad _________________ The question is not whether they can talk or reason, but whether they can suffer. -- Jeremy Bentham |

The right as in the 'correct' or the right as in the 'wrong'?
You see to me, that kind of extremism either way is just as ridiculous. You Robert come across to me as someone who has chosen to distance themselves from society, as if it is wrong- but then there are the clues to suggest that you aren't as paranoid as you make out. I dunno. Because we have never met, it is hard to make an assumption from just reading email. I think there are many people (including myself) who make assumptions through email (there I go -"I'm okay, you're okay" Eric Berne )
I tend to read Spiked Online from time to time. It helps me get a sense of perspective & proportion!
I'm still confused about this German Alsatian dog theory. Could this be applied to those who own a Doberman too? Boys from Brazil?? _________________ ACHTUNG!

If that was a joke and not an attempt to associate those things with fascism (which part of the right really does) I apologize for miss-reading you and being such an obnoxious smart ass. And no, I am not terribly well balanced, but neither am I dangerous, only profoundly eccentric. _________________ The question is not whether they can talk or reason, but whether they can suffer. -- Jeremy Bentham |

An off center position on the wheel of normality is best, bachus. As you probably know, one only gets dizzy if occupying the exact center, whereas the in the periphery one actually go somewhere.

I took it as neither a joke or an attempt to associate those things with fascism, just a statement of fact. _________________ What makes a space ours, is what we put there, and what we do there. |
