Hey all,

great to have stumbled onto this forum. I wish I knew how I came here Wink

I've been making mu.. erm... sounds for the last odd 12 years, working only with PCs (286 and above). Well, I owned a sampler once, it got stolen... grrr.

I'm mostly making repetitive grooves, filled with lots of bass and distorted sounds.

Current tools o' the trade:
Reaktor
Max/MSP
pd
Ableton Live
Renoise

Always oscillating between theoretical synthesis and mashed up sounds + overdriven beats.

I used to have some music out on the netlabel commie, but it has since gone to ground. The Internet Archive should still have some of it online, released under 'diskonext'.

Anyways, hope to be seeing these pages more often.

With regard to keeping myself amused... sigh, so many sounds to make so little time... I have even been thinking of auto-generating Max/MSP patches to relieve myself of the tedious work. Though no doubt that would be a lot more work... w00ps

Yeah, been working with UNIX/Linux for the last 6 years, both professionally and as a hobby... no beard yet, I'm lacking testosterone I guess Wink

Yeah,

I saw the pictures, shame I didn't know about the event. Especially the jam-session on the beach, that must've been quite a (aural) sight.
