Hi Guys,

What exactly do you need in the environment?

Cheers

Name of patches and etc... as in Cuabse SX devide map.
There is a device map for Cubase where all patches are named.
For example Cuabse device map is here: http://www.dhoop.de/
Just put Clavia and you will see.
XML file.

There is a very short list of instruments in Logic 8.

But the patches will be different for each G2 won't they?

Yes, you are right...
But first 4 banks are similar I think...

Just learning Logic now and still couldn't make Nord sounds, it's flashing, that recieving MIDI but no sound... ughhh.
Logic 8 is more comfortable than Cubase SX 3 and better as I see...

Yep Logic 8 is very nice.

I have a Logic 7 Environment with no patch names, but set up for multi-timbrel use of the G2 but it is not needed for version 8.

Cheers

Also for cubase I did this a while ago:

http://www.electro-music.com/forum/topic-7883.html

There is an app and instructions for getting patch-names out of your G2 and into Cubase.

I will look into how easy it is to change for Logic, but don't hold your breath as I am doing about a thousand other things at the moment.

Cheers
