I'm recaping boss rps-10 and came across 1uF cap. It's electrolytic but there is no mark of positive or negative side. Neither on cap or silkscreen. I'm confused. Where to find those caps? Can I use some other kind?

can get you some if you need it next time I order. I'd check if you can get them from your local supplier first. You can replace it with a ceramic or polyester, I think they are used because its quite hard to get ceramic , polyester, polystyrene in high f

i checked whit my locals..no luck. friend told me to use two polarized to get a non one.

Use a 1uF film cap. AVX has a box one that takes up a pretty small footprint for a film cap of this value.
