Subject description: Question for Wave owners

The parameter knobs on the Wave have the property that when you turn one, the corresponding parameter jumps to the value associated with the knob's position.

I'm used to the G2, where the knobs are endless encoders with LED indicators of the current value, so that turning a knob a little bit always changes the parameter a little bit. How much of a nuisance is the Wave behavior in practice?

So is there an option to set the knobs in 'hooked' mode?
The NordModular Classic had that option too.

I couldn't find any mention of it in the manual (including the new version of the manual that they put out today).

Then the Nord Wave doesn't have a hooked mode, only an immediate mode. The Classic, NordLead3, the G2(X) and some Stage parameters have a hooked mode, the Classic the only one where the user can chose... The Electro and C1 & 2 only the organ draw bars are 'hooked'...

Yes, that's what I think.

I asked them about it once, too. The answer was that if you want to change parameters in real time, you should use a morph. But there aren't all that many morph sources either.
