Hello everyone, i'm new on this forum. Firs of all excuse me for my bad english. I have a question, i've bought and used NL1 and i would know if its possible to shift up/down only 1 octave (for example the 1st one) cause when i use octave shift up, all the 4 octaves went shift up. On the manual i didnt found if this is possible or not.
Thank you

welcome Natureboy

I'm not at my machine right now, so I can't check it out and I may be confusing it with another synth, but...

The NordLead has a KeyboardSplit function, which is freely to be set. The split divides the keys where one part is controlling Slot A & B where the other part controls Slot C & D. Just load both 'sides' with the same Program and set one of the two in a different octave shift.

Are you using a NordRack, then the controller has to be able to make the split and you have to use different Midi channels.

i have the keyboard version, so slot A controls 1st octave, slot B the 2st octave, C the 3rd octave and D the last octave?

I hope you'll accept my apologies Embarassed!

The NordLead1 doesn't have a Keyboard Split setting; the only lead which hasn't... This is very logic as being desinged as just a 4 Slot/4 Voices synthesizer. Keyboard Split is almost impossible then...

So, my solution will not work.
Until now the answer has to read: "No, you can't shift a part of the keyboard!" (That is without an external Midi control device, like the Nord Modular G2(X))
