Nord Lead 2X discontinued?

B&H Photo lists the Lead 2X as discontinued.
Musician's Friend doesn't list the keyboard version at all -- just the rack version.
Sweetwater shows the Lead as limited quantity and the Rack as out of stock. |

Some weeks ago I was walking in Stockholm, came by Clavia DMI and saw a large bunch of boxes containing NordLead2X being loaded into a large truck. They all had European labels...
I think the American distributors don't want to have a large stock, now-a-days: I heard there is a crises going on over there...
At the other hand it could mean the end of the thing

Well... It is true that the USA distributor for Nord is changing, so the scarcity could be an artifact of that change. That's why I'm asking, not telling  |

I hope it is not discontinued, cause I'm about to buy a Rack version of the 2X. Here in Spain there is no stock but all the shops have it on sale. In the store where I'm going to buy it, the owner called to the dealer, and said that will come on July 10th.

I talked to a repair guy in Seattle yesterday and he told me that the whole Nord distribution/licensing structure has changed for the US. He said he used to be a certified Nord repairman, but that a few months ago everything changed and now he has to have everything worked out again. He also said that his rep for the US in on vacation until the middle of May, and that right now there is nothing he can do.
Could have something to do with it. |

The largest Dutch retailer has dropped the NL too. The anniversary model is in the discount. The rack is listed, though...
They also announced a large sale due to a rebuilding of their shop, which could be seen as slimming down stock. Crises? Which crises?

Finally yesterday i paid the deposit for my unit  . I asked and here in Barcelona will come only 3 units at the end of June 
When I was at the shop, the sales representative for the Clavia dealer was there, and said that this units sells really well and said nothing about being discontinued...
I think it's just a matter of low demand because the owner also said that didn't wanted to risk bringing more units.

As I assumed... Something with crises and not to much stock...
