The "keyboard ranges" editor in the Performance Settings dialog is cumbersome to use. It would be nice to have something other than just a set of numbers here.

Suggestions -

1) At the very least, replace the numeric editor/displays with MIDI note number editors.

2) Better yet - use a keyboard graphic with four draggable rangebars above it.

3) Best of all - use both.

I have never used this feature, so I fired up the editor and gave it a try. Aren't the numbers equivalent to MIDI note numbers? When you change the number, the note value, C4 etc., shows up. Isn't that helpfull. I think I'm missing something.

Yes, it does work that way, but for whatever reason, I find having to expend the mental effort to figure out the raw decimal numbers to be a real pain - esp. late at night. Deep synth programming is hard (though fun), and having to switch gears to do trivial calculations that the computer should be able to do, is annoying and breaks the flow.
