Can I still buy a PCB?

OK, the boards are now shipping ..... Just got them in !!! They are beautiful !!

If you ordered just boards, they are beginning to ship now and will have them all shipped by this Friday !!!

The parts orders are just waiting on one supplier ... all the other parts and softpots have arrived and are all packaged up !!! Thanks for your patience !!

In other good news, I just got shipping confirmation for the balance of the kit parts so this means that I will have all the kits packaged by next week and will make my BEST efforts to get them shipped as well. I will be on the road up North for Christmas for 3 days of next week so it's going to be a challenge ...

Just a note on that PC board .. that board was completely laid out by hand, no auto routing, for maximum real estate. The thing is dense as you can see. The process took approximately 50 to 60 hours to complete. There was much though put into all the options of how to apply power to this thing using many synthesizer standards. Scott allowed me the freedom to choose however I wanted to plan and implement the power inputs. I think I have covered all the options. Cool

Orders have been going out steadily with 15 orders going out today. The midnight oil has been burning folks !!

ALL orders with just boards and softpots have already shipped so expect those soon Cool

Orders going today are full kit orders. The balance of all these orders will hopefully get out by this week, later next week.

Part of the delay has been with the USPS who denied my request for more then 5 priority boxes (even though I had like 20 to use immediately) so now I have gone online and ordered the supplies that will be shipped in 7 to 10 business days. Bottom line, they SUCK big time and are totally inflexible. I even have postal clerks get mad at me because I bring too many packages at one time. Too bad I say, do your job!

I got so mad at these lazy people complaining, I have set up to do "click and ship" for domestic priority mail shipments and got myself a nice scale Evil or Very Mad

Well, I ended up visiting two postal locations so that I could get enough boxes. I am happy to say that I ended up shipping ALL Appendage orders with exception to one. I am waiting for a Softpot for this one then it will ship in about a week. Embarassed

The "Click and Ship" is nice and the carrier just picked up 13 packages at my door !! Cool

Hi Bill - I am very excited!! Very Happy

I am new in the DIY world and am lucky to have The Electronic Peasant as an electronics teacher. He also chooses the best Christmas presents and the Appendage was my present this year ... I eagerly come home every day ... is it here???!!! I can't wait. He, of course, didn't say anything about the Appendage until Christmas and over the holidays I read the thread - it was amazing to follow the development. What a great community.

I'm like a kid .. I'm so excited I just had to share it with everyone.
