I have a post!! Hope this is being posted to the right place?

I just upgraded to suite and got "MAX" along with AL10.

I see tutorials on youtube etc. for Cycling/Max but the UI appears to have changed in Ableton10--in the best Microsoft/Adobe tradition the "furniture has been moved around" although features might be the same?

Q: Are there youtubes/vids with tutorials that reflect the latest GUI for Max? I can muddle through ones with the icons in different places etc. but I am a full newbie here.

Thanks in advance!

Are you sure that isn't just Max 8 For Live (as opposed to the full stand-alone Max)?

Max4Live is a subset of Max 8, and there is a lot of mulual exclusivity between the two.

I upgraded from Ableton Live 9 standard to Ableton suite 10. I need a tutorial for whatever version of MAX comes with Ableton suite 10. The Youtube tutorials I have found online so far have a different UI.

Thanks

You should probably post a message on the Ableton or Cycling74 forums.
I'm fairly sure that they bundled Max4Live with Ableton Suite- it makes sense.

It's NOT the stand-alone Max.

Have done that, good suggestion. Thanks.
