NM "flute" through G2 perf. The perf is working like the Crusher X granular synthesis program.

Very interesting music. Quite an eerie mood to it.

Thank you Mosc and Mohoyoho ,
It is excually flute piece I, but i forgot to del the post before this. It had some cracks in it. B.t.w., I haven't mailed Gwen yet. If she is comming to the event, please let her bring her flute. I wrote a little piece. So with a mic though the CrusherX perf, i think, it would be nice. My experiments doing this where very nice, but i couldn't tweak the Behringer knobs at the same time(just having 1 pair of hands:(

If Gwen doesn't want to do the flute piece, you could ask Dean Stiglitz.

Yes, Deknow is a good flute player. BTW, it is Gen. Gwen is the name of Deknow's dog. Smile

Oepsss, a dog playing flute? I know there's a dog wistle, but to perform with that is a bit funny because of the high frequecies. But i wrote the piece for Gen, and if she can't, Dean will be alright too. How do i contact him? And i like to perform it on day 3 of the event.(rehearsals).

i'm right here! gwennie (our dachshund) does not play the flute, but she does often sing with us (and if you tune in to the soon to be announced webcast on saturday, you will probably hear her sing).

i need to make a disclaimer that i am not a "good" flute player by most standards of flute playing...this is not a self depricating attitutude, i love playing the flute, and i am very happy with what i do do with it (you may remeber playing my g2/flute setup at last years event downstairs in the jam area). i have improved my setup quite a bit since then (using the g2 to filter out most of the key noise that is generally associated with using an internal pickup), and i would be happy to get together durring the event work on some stuff...but my reading is attrocious (by any standards), so if you have very specific things in mind, it may not work out...but i'm happy to try...and i'm happy to hear gen play (and use my g2 setup if it's appropriate and/or desireable).

Hi Dean,
Thanx for your reply. The piece excists from 'normal' notes/flaggiolets to 'flattertoungings' and a few multi phonics and voice, key claps stuff and micro tones.
It last for about 15 min. We will see who wants to perform it. It is not sooooo difficult! And i can play it for you.

roland, you might enjoy these (i think i've posted them here before):

www.electroflute.com/audio/springcomes1.mp3
www.electroflute.com/audio/springcomes2.mp3
www.electroflute.com/audio/springcomes3.mp3

flute and guitar (no fancy effects on the guitar...just reverb and delay, with some ebow playing...everything else is my flute setup).
