I’m looking to invest in a decent delay / echo / reverb unit, or combination for a range of uses and instruments, some extras would be nice, especially harmoniser, though I’m not bothered about chorus and flanger too much. I’ve been offered a Roland Space Echo for about 300 Euros, haven’t checked it yet though. I’d be a bit apprehensive about maintenance. A good deal on a Boss SX 700 has also caught my eye. I’m also interested in Vermona Retroverb, but don’t have a chance to listen to it; some folks on other forums have been disappointed. Maybe an option would be to buy cheap second hand digital then save for some Moog fx/ filter to run it through! Basically I'd be interested to hear opinions about the gear above, suggestions, or your favorite combinations.

The analogue Moog 104Z delay is mighty fine. Not inexpensive, but a great sound with a FX loop i/o and CV on all the controls.

I like the Zoom Multi FX units myself. I own a RFX2000 but you might want to take a look at the Zoom RFX2200. The specifications are shown below. This unit will serve well as a reverb and delay/echo but it also contains some unusual FX algorithms such as the "step cry" and "time trip". Their "ring modulator" is really good to Exclamation Additionally, this unit is perfect for recording finalization on your mixdowns. It also has an optical digital output! Give it a look Very Happy

....i love the flavor of reverb/delay in the boss rv-3 pedal. i believe the rv-5 is similar (and it has stereo through).

That looks nice to! It even has GATED REVERB mode and spring verb as well. Something you don't see often in a compact unit such as this ....

Very Happy
