Something capable of multi-format would be nice, I don't have any Euro space left |

WaveWiper PCBs |
 |
|
I installed eagle and started on a board layout myself as a first test
I'm making it of the original design with some small changes, so not the
one diablojoy designed with the extra attenuverters (I finally know what
those things do now ).
The design has 2 boards: one has the actual circuit, and the other one is
for the 3,5mm sockets and pot(s) in case you want to use it as a euro module.
It's connected to the other PCB with printheaders so no wiring is required
If everything works out as planned I hope to have the first boards ready
somewhere in february. The first run will be 10 boards to see if they work
and because this is the first time I'm doing this. So I'm not sure yet if the
text will be readable, it might be a bit too small. I can probably do a print
on paper first though.
Here's a 3D render of what I have at the moment that doesn't seem to show
the gap between the snap points, which is another thing that I don't know
yet if it wil work correct. The render also uses a different font so the text
looks different and does not fit in some places now.
I think I'll move the wipe pot down so it's located between the CV and In A
sockets. And then I'll add another pot, where the wipe pot is placed now,
which will function as an attenuator for the CV signal.
done

I'm exhausted with a sick cat, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. |

Hey, PHOBoS!
It's easy enough right?
Some manufacturer's can be a bit sniffy about board breaks.
Merry etc!

some rules from some fabricators.
OSHpark and Seeed also of course.
I could no doubt have saved some money for multiple panels, but my workflow is so haphazard I'd rather get some boards and build/test before moving on. Otherwise I'll forget little details and reasons for doing things.
Not done any vector import but will if I start doing 3U or 4U frontpanels in Diptrace Free. Unfortunately Eagle Light has a 100mm size restriction (whereas Diptrace has a <300 pin restriction) that stops people from doing frontpanels.
Last thought: I bump every through hole solder pad up to 2mm diameter from the 1.5mm standard and ICs up to 3x1.5mm. In my opinion many solder pads are far too small from certain diy sellers.
