I, too, marvel at the density of the board. At the outset, I had guessed it was going to take clever work just to keep it at 4" by 6", and now it comes in at half that!

Scott and his family have suffered a nasty virus over Christmas and we have to wait for them to recover. The layout is ready for prototyping, and we should be ready to go as soon as Scott gets back on the bench. I'm very happy with what I've done, and am about to get married (tomorrow actually) so hold the horses! We'll be back on the game before you know it! _________________ What makes a space ours, is what we put there, and what we do there. |

I'm told that Scott is on the mend now, having embarked on a strict regime of homeopathic treatments. I could have sworn that was nothing more than water he was taking, but what do I know? I mean, when G. W. Bush told me that Brownie was doing a heck of a job, I believed him.
And Uncle, congratulations, but watch out for any distaff ambitions for new dining room tables. I'm told that's common.

From what I've seen here so far I'm good for two. Much more impressive than other analog percussion circuits I've looked at.
Thanks to you all, and keep the samples coming. |

Yes, unfortunate. I had gotten an e-mail from Scott and he told me about it. Robin and I are suffering a weird bug now ourselves and it figures we are on vacation

hello!
i'd like to have at least one board, please count me in.
were there schematics/bom already available for this beauty, or just this teasing all around us?
Another thing, might be a bit off, but on one of these pages Scott commented on pyeeeooow drum voices,
quote from the first page of this conversation:
"the synthetic drums it'll create are much more varied than the pyeeeooow species of electronic drum."
i do have a few of these things, quite a few channels worth actually and i'd like to ask (without hijacking this thread)
that did anyone tried to mod these? i'm particularly interested with designs that have the 3080. anyone?
hey

We're getting ready to order the proto-boards. Andy's made a slight change to the PCB to accomodate the standard power connectors like those found on CGS modules.

All righty then!
Thomas is supporting a proto-run; I would imagine the funds will be in to order the protos this week, then I'll send them to UK/Australia for evaluation.

Scott, I'd be interested in a board as well, but can't be firm on it until I know the cost. Thanks. |
