I don't think 13600 or 13700 will make much difference here.

I hope I'll be able to offer boards in fall 2009.

I have to finish the design before August anyway, because *then* I think my concentration will be too distracted for such a complex project.

I'm looking forward to August a lot - there will be a lot of "human voice" in the house by then, if all goes well! Wink

Hmmm ... no ... I was talking about a "living human voice" - darn, that doesn't mean much, as I have used that term "living" for electronics recently ... but not this time ...
What I mean is: I expect the FFF to come some time as well, but right now, I mean another kind of "expecting" ... Laughing

Most of the layout is finished. But I have to take a rest, and make two smaller projects in between.

Needs more time. Sorry to say this, but not in 2009 anymore. Sad

Even if it costs me $300 or so for parts and pcb it's worth it. Vintage EMS or Syntovox units are insanely priced nowadays. Even the good old SVC-350 and VC-10 sell for up to and around $800-$1k and they are nowhere near as cool as the JH aims to be.

There is no top drawer DIY vocoder out there I can see. This is necessary. I'd be down for a board. I was tempted to try the Okita or paia, but I would gladly wait for this.

I dont mind the wait... It will allow me to advance on my music...

There is a positive point to running out of space in one's modular rack and a delay in projects Smile

yeah... I've got an SVC, VC10, ms2000, voicebox, 2 microkorgs and 3 busted warp factories at my disposal here so I'm not urgently tapping my toe... I'll wait and be patient..

but.. just seeing that this project might exist, or is close to being a reality really pumps my balls.. uh.. figuratively..

Hi,

Sorry if this is a stupid question - but will it be possible to wire the individual envelope followers to the front panel? And the CV input for the filters as well - so it's possible to connect the env. follower of channel 1 to filter 5 and so on?

Thanks!
