I just ordered a Wave from Nova. Can someone suggest some models/brands of pedals that I should get? I have never bought pedals before, so I don't know what's good. Thanks.

I'm using a Yamaha FC-4 and Roland EV-5 with my Nord G2. They both work fine.

That Yamaha looks good. The reviews for the Roland aren't "great" on musicians friend. I'll have to look into both of them some more. Thanks for the suggestions.

Hey... I have a question as well.

Are the mod wheel and the control pedal the same thing, or can you set separate parameters to each? If you can't make them separate, then I'm not sure if I want to even get one. I'm guessing that it would free my hand up to do other things instead of worrying about the mod wheel. I don't know.

They're separate.

The mod wheel is normally CC#1; the expression pedal is CC#11. On the Wave, you can use each of them separately as a morph source.

When using the Wheel/Pedal Morph both use the same parameters!!! However, the ControlPedal can be set to the overall volume parameter where the Wheel will be the Morph control. See also [Manual NordWave pages 13, 18 and 66] This Manual is download able at http://www.clavia.se/main.asp?tm=Products&clpm=Nord_Wave&clnwm=Manuals

So I can't have both the wheel and the pedal control a separate morph source? If I chose them to both have morph control, they will control the same thing?

Thanks for the manual.

I don't own a Wave, but that's what I think the Manual tries to tell me...

I went ahead and got these. I don't get my Wave until Thursday though. Can't wait.
