Hi,
I was just looking at what sequencer to build, this one seems perfect: not overly complected and yet some unique fun features.
I'd like to order two boards.

HI Matthias,
Is it too late to order a board? electro-music didn't notify that there'd been any updates to this thread, so I didn't know you were taking orders.

finished 1st draft of building documentation:
VCPS8_doc_v2
i soon will add additional pages describing how to wire the PCB as common 8-Step Sequencer (without the ADC control). _________________

Yeah, no rush...But I must say, I think I like your documenation better than any I've seen. Really, really clear and well organized. Kudos to all your effort! |

Hallo Matthias,
Just thinking loud!
Did you ever think about adding a second DAC clocked with the same source and connected to a R-2R ladder creating thus a second CV voltage bus that could be mixed to each "step" point from the schematic, would this add even more versatility?
thank you

there has been the idea of hooking a DAC to the ADCs outputs and clock it with the same or different clock. however, i think it would be more versatile to have the possibility of feeding the sequencer with an external reference voltage (as seen in the klee2). this would be another project, i believe. _________________

Matthias,
As the PCB's will soon be on the way, I've just checked out your documentation (excellent, as usual) and spotted a small mistake in the BOM.
The BOM shows 16 SPDT toggle switches, when the design only shows 8. A small issue I know, but worth correcting.
Regards

If a PCB becomes available, I would be interested in it.
Thanks. |
