soon. i will have to write up the docs, and i will have to triple check my latest change on the circuit:
i changed the reset circuit a little bit. it now resets on upgoing pulse/gate, thus the external reset input is no longer inhibiting the sequencer. this is very handy if you wanted to reset you sequencer using an divider.
a common divider gives you long gates. as long as the reset in on the 4017 is high it is stopped. it is an stop-reset actually. so i altered the reset input of the sequencer to a gate2trig. any gate will result in a short reset pulse. _________________

I am happy that my EFM archives have been an inspiration! There is even a third folder of schematics and such which I was going to upload, but my old mac is broken now so it will need to wait until I fix it. It's going to be liquid cooled, next time around.
Meanwhile, please do put me down for two PCBs if you plan on offering them. |

hi all,
i am now taking orders for this project until monday, the 17th of may.
BTW i think i registered all placed orders by today, the 4th of may. i am still writing up the building docs, so stay tuned. however, the current schematic can be found in the 1st post of this thread.
the pricing:
1 PCB 12.-EUR/16.-USD (may drop depending on orders)
+ p&p:
outside europe 4.-USD 1 PCB, 8 USD 2+ PCBs
europe 3.-EUR
deutschland 2.-EUR
i won't take any money until i hold the boards in my hands, so just post in this thread, PM or email me if you are interested (following the recommendations for PCB sales on electro-music.com).
This is not a beginners project. some wiring has to be done, and more than 10 ICs are placed on this 4.9x3.9in PCB.
for more information refer to 1st post in this thread. _________________

Matt,question (maybe weird):
Is it possible to use this pcb and poppulate it to use it only as a simple 8 step sequencer (so without the adc thing etc),can maximum ic's been ommited? |

sure. the easy way would be just to wire on-off switches, instead of the on-off-on. then one could leave off the ADC, the AND-gates, and the OpAmps/Comparators of the CV processor.
one could even leave off the buffers and switches, and drive the steps/potentiometers directly from the 4017 (it supplies enough current for two channels in my experience). then on-off toggle switches would have to replace the CMOS switches...
alas, i will have to add those options to the building docs, right? _________________
