Haha! You shall have one!!! So far as I know it's really just bringing the patch points out. I might just make a guide myself on it, once I'm sure that I understand it completely.
He's very busy with personal stuff, last I heard. I don't expect that he will have time very soon, unless something has changed. I will see if I can find a few hours to polish up a second board overlay with the bentley panel wiring.
Ah yes, here is the panel wiring information. I will have to add this to the .PDF in the next revision:
Panel Wiring Wire Pad Designation
Control Voltages CV1, 2, 3, 4
Ext In EXTIN
Frequency Controls F1.1-3, F2.1-3, F3.1/2, F 4.1/2, F5.1/2, F6.1/2
Range Controls R1.2/3, R2.2/3
Balance Controls BAL1,2,3
CV Offsets OS1.1-3, OS2.1-3
Outputs Out, Out2
Power (GND) GND, GNDA, GNDB
Power (+V) +V, +V1
Power (-V) -V, -V1
Bentley Mod Patch Points HEX1,SUM1/2,X1,X1.2,X2,X2.1,X3,X3.2,X4,X4.1 |

Oh shit... I thought I'd raised my hand... back when this was in the layout forum. Did you count those? Or was that a completely different drum pcb?

I've got ya down here, yup! You're actually the first one on my list
I thought I would send PM's to everyone that pre ordered, but I actually don't want to go through the trouble of messaging a bunch of people right now. Just send payment when you can following the instructions in the first post, and include your username in the order details on the paypal form

Well, I toyed with the idea of sending messages out to everyone and handling it like a reserved pre-order sort of thing, but then it occurred to me that I haven't taken payment for anything yet...and there will probably be people that are MIA/not interested anymore.
So it's basically a free-for-all, since I have not received payment in advance for anything. I will give priority to people who requested boards should it come down to a dispute between payments.
I am probably going to order a handful more boards once this batch is mostly done for myself and others that might want some - those will be reserved ones for whoever missed the first time around!
So, nobody should miss out, completely
It's hard to please everyone

Thanks
Well, im ready and able to pay now but feel a bit bad cutting in line as it were. How many short are you?
I think ordering a few more boards if youve got the money time and patience is probably worth it; once a few people have built and shown off theirs interest will rise again. Im sure youll sell them. Thinking about it i should have gone for two as suggested above for a closed and open.
Ill wait a week or so and let the others have a chance first, if by then theres still a spare ill grab it. Does that sound fair enough? And ill prob order a second in the second batch.
Only reason im querying this is i need to order the parts so dont really want to order a load of bits i can use.
Cheers for sorting all this out.

I am 4 boards short of fulfilling all the people who showed interest. That is if they only order the amount they asked for...if anyone wants more we're SOL...so yeah, I definitely should have ordered more than I did...hmph.
That sounds great! Thanks for backing out for a bit, then. I feel like a total ass making it free for all but I'm expecting that quite a handful will not be interested/have forgotten/yada yada...rest assured that noone will miss out completely though! At worst if there is someone that needs just one or two boards more than were ordered and does not make it worthwhile to make a whole order, I can just make some myself for that special case.
I emailed the PCB manufacturer to request another order, which I will place once funds start trickling in from this batch! |

hi
slighlty OT;
Would a 470k pot be OK for that AR generator?
I cant find a 500k pot at my suppliers... Get free shipping at the mo so would rather get it from here if possible. If a critical value ill grab elsewhere.
Cheers

I think you'll do just fine with a 500K pot. Most pots are +/-10% tolerance or worse anyway. Which means the typical 500K pots could actually be anywhere from 450K to 550K. _________________ Looking for a certain ratio since 1978 |

Alright, I hate a busy night and forgot to reply here when I shipped your guys' orders! Hah...anyways:
To those that have placed orders thus far: your packages were shipped last night via Canada Post! You should get them anywhere from 1 week+ depending where you live
I will update this post with a list of usernames so you know for sure that your order shipped - I'm just on my way to work now so don't have the time to go through the list and add your names here! |

Okay! So I've started working on the Bentley mod instructions Hopefully I will have some time to finish those and the graphics for them off, soon.
There are still over half of the boards unclaimed as of right now!

There are only six boards left for grabs! Yikes. Once someone builds one and confirms the integrity of the boards I will order some more (in case a revision is needed) |
