Hey people! Sorry...electro-music was down for a bit there and I could not respond to my thread notifications, and then I forgot 'til now!

@ Textual, RE: Shipping time: The thing about lettermail is that it is VERY hit or miss. Sometimes, I receive stuff in 2-3 days over the border (like quite a few have here already) and sometimes...it takes WEEKS! Which sucks...but, you get what you pay for - dirt cheap shipping! Basically the carrier prioritizes it in terms of whenever it's most cost effective for them to transport it...so it goes days and days sitting in some parts of the mailing process.

Hopefully it'll turn up shortly!!!

And yes, these are the most recent design of the module!

I am just awaiting someone completing the module and giving me some feedback on the board - in case changes are needed.

Then, I would be ordering another small run for those that missed out, and that would take approximately a month more until I have the boards - so no, not incredibly soon!

If someone finishes the module shortly though we can get to do another run faster Smile If anyone needs help feel free to PM me!

Joe, keep this thread "watched" so you get email updates. I will make a post in here when the next run begins to precipitate!

Ah! That's great news. Smile

Glad to hear.

Yeah, sorry for those that it took long to receive for. I lose sleep when I haven't shipped things asap, so believe me when I say that I wish I could make them get there faster! Sucks that customs jerks ya around sometimes.

I'm 90% through with the PCB.
This doesn't mean that I'll have it finished all too soon though, as I'm notoriously slow with the metal works and panel wiring Sad

Will definitely report back though.

So far, nobody has finished one to my knowledge! Thus, I am awaiting that to happen in case any revisions are required on the board layout!

Sorry for the wait! Razz

How big is a run? If you're willing to have a few more made, I for one would be willing to get one, build it up right away, and let you know if it works or not. I suspect I'm not alone.

I don't know if this is something you're willing to explore, but another option I've done in the past is to do a prototype run of one board from PCBcart.com without niceties such as silk screen and solder mask, and built up a prototype from that board to make sure it all worked, and then ordered the production run. It's about $60, but it ensures that I'm not selling boards to other users without having tested them myself....

Thanks for the tip! I am definitely aware of the want for another run of boards, I just would like to have the board perfected as much as possible before another run. I am not too concerned about the board not working - the prototype -was- tested by Ryk when I fabbed them myself at the beginning of the project Smile (you might have missed that if you haven't followed the whole thread), so the board should work - it just might not be as convenient as it could be.

I'm hoping someone might share their experiences soon! Wink

Cheers man! No problem Smile

I am still awaiting approval of the layout from a builder!

Feel free to email me if you'd like any assistance/what-have-you:

artificialharmony (at) gmail.com

Also, I have just updated the Bill of Materials in the assembly guide to reflect two pots that I missed! You will need 5 100k potentiometers (two more for the CV Offsets) - sorry if this has confused anyone in the middle of building it.

I do try to be perfect, but sometimes I miss things Smile

The assembly guide looks the same, except it's a new version is all. Feel free to re-download it from the attachment in the first post! Yay Smile

now i'll have a look at the new documentation! thanks, hex!
