Here's a piece I recorded earlier this year. My friends refer to it as "Dracula's Castle". I can't disagree.

Let me start to say that I like this track, to avoid possible confusion about that.
I'm sorry .. I didn't feel uncomfortable at all listening to it, I even listened again :-)
For me the high pitched bell like sounds keep it friendly, like play. The delay llines in self-oscillation mode, or nearly, or that's what it sounds like to me, do go give a lot of tension of course, but beautifull rather than scary.
Sort of a sound poem.

Yes, I like this one too, and it's not scary at all. I think it is beautiful music. Some of the best I've heard in a long time. _________________ --Howard

Thanks, Guys
The "Dracula's Castle" moniker came from a context I played it in.. I was doing some accompaniment for a lecture on Chaos theory, and I played that piece as background for the section on global warming. It made a lot of people uncomfortable. |

Whoops, forgot that I was supposed to say a few words about the piece:
It's all recorded live from a single G2. |

I thought it was eerie, or at the least kind of mysterious.
Nice though. Good bit of sort of backgroundy mood music. _________________ This message was brought to you from Beyond The Grave. |

It's quite 'Sciencey' (if thats a word?) in a sort of 'Der Zyklus' way.
It also reminds me of the spooky music from 'The Andromeda Strain', I likes it!

The Andromeda Strain!! I love that movie! I wonder.. I think it got released in 1971... and I saw it in 1973. _________________ A Charity Pantomime in aid of Paranoid Schizophrenics descended into chaos yesterday when someone shouted, "He's behind you!"

| Thanks to all who have had kind words for this and the other piece I posted. I don't do much music due to time constraints and a possible lack of self-confidence, but the latter is drying up like a puddle in the sun thanks to the encouragement I'm getting here. |
