Hey Unkle Krunkus, you 're so lucky to be one of the first man tweaking the knobs of that synth.... Wink
I forgot to mention that I even bought the molex connectors for this project! Maybe I am a bit obsessed but when I hearded all the samples that have been posted on this thread I became sure that It is the right companion for my Soundlab, x0xb0x and midi speak&spell and speak&math.
Now I clearly know how I 'll build it and all I need are the two PCBs and the (38?) potentiometers ( what about their values? I could order them too Surprised )
Hehehe...

Ooooh, nice sound on that kick, Uncle K! I'm always impressed by the sound of that Sorceror whenever you post samples as well.

Did you know if you put the MPS in locked mode, the impact oscillator will clock the Klee? Actually (haven't done it yet) but shell output would, too. The noise output provides a nice random signal for the Klee as well. I've gotten some crazy sounds with the two feeding each other (even at audio rate).

But, the percussion, that's the true beauty of this device.

Cheerio,
Scott

Yeah I tried flicking it into locked mode while that sequence was playing! It sounded like someone had shoved a firecracker up the cats arse! Shocked Brilliant!! It would make a great change/bridge. Laughing

Andy's in the throes of another bout of the flu (a side-benefit of havingt kids go to pre-school).

We're nailing down the final readings - mainly making sure variations at the main outputs fall into a certain percentage. It is pretty obvious that running at 12V is going to require some modification, mainly as it was designed for 15V operation. We'll cross that bridge in the documentation, but we want to be sure everything is going to agree from build to build at 15V first.

Cheers,
Scott

At this stage, unless something radical needs to be done to the layout, which I doubt, as both Tom and I have put together our prototypes, and the layout seems to be spot on.

Outside dimensions are: -
116mm by 78mm

Mounting hole centres (3mm) at: -
108mm by 70mm

I'm expecting Scott to announce the order has been placed any day now. Very Happy

Just make sure you keep a close eye on this thread. I'm sure once the boards hit the electro-music shop, they will just disappear like a snow flake on Satan's arse! Laughing

eg: - I know most people are looking at getting at least two, and up to 8 boards! Shocked

Yep! Hope that PCBs will be enough for all !
It would be very frustrating for me to see that all PCBs are over, since I already bought lots of stuff for the MPS (chips, trannies, 2 midi to cv cards, molex connectors, wood and plexiglass for the case).
But, yes, I am often giving a look at this thread! Twisted Evil

Well, I'm sure if the first 100 sell out there will be a second run of 100 not too far behind. So don't stress too much. Very Happy

Well, we're still waiting on some measurements from our pan-world team, so let's not rush it. I know everyone's anxious, but we really can't proceed with the production run (which I'm paying for out of my own pocket as a gift to EM) until we get the comparisons in from everyone. Yeah, this is a DIY project, but it's also something people will be paying money for (for the PCB's) so we don't want to release it until we're moderately sure the unit will work for everyone.

So hang in there until until we hear back from the last of the beta-testers.

on top of this site is a button "Store"
the boards will be available in the store. check DIY. there is allready the Klee

it would be nice that when you Guys hold the Boards in the Hand,
to make a comment here, and then keep them for some Days or one Week back bevore releasing them in the store.

this way one must not check in all the time, and one must not be afraid to miss something.
not a stuppid idea, issn't it ?

then i'm also interested to hear if there are some problems or modifications you are doin.
Whats going on ?
thanks

I agree with Funky40! It would be very frustrating, after checking this thread more than once a day, to see a SOLD OUT advice on the MPS's store page Wink
