i am glad to say that this time i received payment for more than 75% of the PCB within 4 days! that's amazing, boys. thank you. Cool
so i hope no one felt pushed. i just wanted to say that all PCBs are now spoken for and i am not able to take more orders now.

Hi Fonik, can you check if I ordered/paid/received a P3100 PCB, I'm up to my eyeballs in circuits here and can't remember.

i built the CV circuitry within my electronics workbench software and did some measurements. according to my findings i made a little spreadsheet showing the different values for different PSU settings.
i used four measuring points: 1st right before the potentiometer to set the initial CV (R16/19/22), 2nd the output of the voltage reference (emitter of Q7, controlled by R29), 3rd and 4th the voltage reaching the LEDs and the vactrols (now saying that, i should have measured the current, i think???).

here are my findings (without any warranty):

As usual I have missed out on this PCB run.
I have PMd fonik to see if I can get on a waiting list.
in the meantime, does anyone here in the states have an extra PCB that they would be willing to sell?
Please let me know.
Thanks

It's a pretty simple circuit. I'm sure you could build it on perf board. That's what I'm going to do.

Question - I bought a bunch of TL072's thinking that the LM1458 was optional (didn't bother looking at the schematic, just the BOM). Any reason why the 072's won't work in place of the 1458's?

I'm 95% done with one of my modules, the second board is stuffed, but I'm getting a FPD panel made for that one (for a friend).

Who says it won't?
It will. Smile

Got it together and sounding lovely (The TL072's work fine). The trimpots set the CV sensitivity, right? Any adjustment hints?

ya ya ya ya yah yo ya yah yah yo you ya yah yah. - lovely formant sounds.

Thanks for doing the second run Matthias!

No, they seem to adjust a frequency offset (judging from the schematic), because their voltages add up to the panel pot voltages and the incoming CVs.

Adjustment: Set all 3 panel pots equal and then adjust trimpots (with no modulation) until the three resonators speak the same frequency.
(Or why not use the trimpots to give the three resonators different offsets?) Smile

Sure, but you already have the panel pot.

Look in the schematic. The 3 CV sources;
the panel pot + the trimpot + the CV input
are summed up through 3 identical 270k resistors.
But they don't have to be 3! They can be 1. Or 25.

@oldmanfury
ya ya ya, that's great sounding! congrats. i bet you were the first one finishing his resonators... Cool

BTW 1458 is just what korg used.
